As a leading enterprise in China's pet freeze-dried food sector, RANOVA's Gold Can continues the packaging style of its "Boss Series" products—simple, elegant, and featuring a platinum color scheme. This packaging design, exemplified by "Boss's Biscuit," won the Gold Award for Packaging Design Innovation at the PACKCON Packaging Container Exhibition on April 11. It’s clear that Gold Can embodies not only RANOVA's two years of meticulous research and development in packaging but also showcases the company's innovative capabilities in the pet freeze-dried food field.

The product reflects RANOVA's active exploration and research into the demands of the pet freeze-dried food market since its establishment. Over the past 15 years (2009–2024), RANOVA has been committed to promoting industry standardization, diversified development, and driving comprehensive upgrades in the pet food industry. On January 17, the Tianjin Association for Science and Technology approved the establishment of an "Academician and Expert Collaborative Innovation Center" at RANOVA. On March 9, the center was officially launched, aiding RANOVA in accelerating the development of new productive forces and creating new value and momentum for the pet industry.
The development of Gold Can was spearheaded by Dr. Liu Fengqi, Chairman of RANOVA and former associate professor at Nankai University's College of Life Sciences. Dr. Liu formed an elite R&D team with RANOVA's researchers and pet food experts, which has since developed over 200 products. In 2022, Dr. Liu proposed the idea of creating a "dry and wet two-way" freeze-dried pet food. After two years of formula adjustments and production process improvements, Gold Can made its debut as a flagship product at the Asian Pet Show in August 2024.

Upon its launch, the product attracted significant attention from domestic and international customers, particularly RANOVA's overseas distributors. On the first day alone, RANOVA secured product cooperation agreements with multiple international clients, and Gold Can sold out at the exhibition. This feature is the product's core selling point: in just 5 seconds, the freeze-dried ingredients rehydrate in water, returning to their fresh state. Domestic Offline Channels Cover Over 6,000 Direct-Operated Stores
In terms of channel expansion, RANOVA first appeared at major pet industry exhibitions in 2017 and quickly established an offline partnership model with stores. That same year, the number of offline partners exceeded 3,000, laying a solid foundation for the brand's growth. In 2020, RANOVA's Complete Freeze Dried Cat Food Series(Zhiwei) officially launched, marking the beginning of its full-scale online business expansion. From 2021 onward, RANOVA ranked No. 1 in Tmall's freeze-dried cat snacks category for three consecutive years, driving sustained high growth in domestic sales with annual growth rates exceeding 100%. Today, RANOVA's domestic direct supply partners have expanded to 6,000, a testament to the success of its channel strategy. The synergistic development of online and offline channels has not only solidified RANOVA's leading market position but also enhanced its brand influence.
In international markets, RANOVA has also achieved remarkable success. After obtaining nine international certifications, including U.S. FDA registration, EU registration, and Canadian CFIA approval, RANOVA's products now reach over 20 countries across four continents, further strengthening its global pet food market position. Its self-owned brand products are available in 16 countries, serving more than 20 million pet households worldwide.
Notably, in November 2023, RANOVA earned the Customs AEO Advanced Certification, marking a milestone in its international management standards and providing additional momentum for its global expansion.
